I did one of the pop-up cards from the new Close To My Heart Artiste cartridge and WOW, it was easy to make!  I have always wanted to try a pop-up card and the assembly booklet that comes with the new cartridge is the best!

CTMH Artiste Card Holder

Hi, here is a project I did today and loved making it.  I think this new cartridge, Artiste, is just the best!  One of the great things is that it has an instructional/assembly booklet that shows how to put all the 3-d objects together, YAHOO!!

CTMH Cricut Artiste Cartridge

I am so excited to tell share a little about the new CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge.  It is a super-duper cartridge that I know you will want and will use for so many projects.  It has lots of shapes, a very nice alphabet, tons of great cards, belly bands and envelopes, and some of the cutest 3-d shapes along with some great phases.  There are seasonal things, birthday cuts and shapes, script balloons and rolled flowers!  Can you tell, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cartridge?

Here is my video for the Christmas in July Cardz TV challenge.  Please excuse my rambling but I am speaking from the heart.  Please pray for those in Colorado that have experienced such a tragedy.

CTMH CardzTV Christmas in July

I made this card for the CardzTV Christmas in July challenge.  I used some of the new Close to My Heart paper called "Pear and Partridge" for background layers.  I also used some red cardstock that was run though the Cuttlebug using the snowflake folder.  I sanded the paper to bring out the white core.  I used a CTMH sentiment and some fiber ribbon from my statch.   I used some scraps on the inside and stamped some snowflakes from the CTMH set.

While I was waiting for the rain today (which we did not have), I was cruising on You Tube and found a neat project on a tutorial from Creations with Christina.  She showed how to make a name plate for a desk.  I have scrap-lifted it and wanted to post my adaptation of her creation.  She painted her and it is darling, but I did not have paints so I used scrapbook paper.  I used a CTMH Dotty paper to cover my project.  I also added a little pocket on the back to hold a pen.

I made this card using the "Dotty" paper pack and the Close to My Heart stamp set "Remarkable Wreath".  Actually I made the card yesterday and was so blessed to have a rain shower today.
